14" Adonidia palm

 The adonidia palm grows best when given full sun for at least 4 to 6 hours every day. If you're growing a specimen indoors, keep it near a south- or west-facing window, where it gets strong light. Outdoors, it prefers sun but can tolerate partial shade, especially on hot summer afternoons when the sun is strong. The palm also appreciates some shade when it's young, as strong sun all day long can scorch its tender new growth. The adonidia palm is tolerant of any type of soil, provided it's well-drained. If your specimen is in a container, ensure this has a drainage hole and allow it to drain well after watering, never leaving it standing in a water-filled saucer.
